I'm Julia.
Julia Ranson, Julia Mooney, depending on when you came to know me. I live outside of Philadelphia with my husband, 3 kids, puppy, and 8 chickens. Artist, teacher, gardener, birth doula, childbirth educator, DIY adventurer. I started a challenge called "One Outfit 100 Days" that has gained attention for shedding light on what I refer to as "our culture of excess". I'm one to paint walls without asking and the truth of that extends into all areas of my life, for better or worse. I live for the creative energy that I can't hold in, which has presented itself in a variety of unexpected ways through the years. Huge fan of authenticity, humility, and reflection. A firm believer in taking the high road and the long view. And challenges. Without challenge there is no growth.
